Note: Wheeljack and Optimus' conversation was almost word-for-word something that happened with a truck driver I dealt with at work one day. I thought it would be perfect for a filler comic.

Note: I recall in the IDW published comics at the time, Thundercracker was on his own and not allying himself with either the Autobots or Decepticons. I liked his characterization and wanted to implement parts of it into the comic here. I also liked the question that with Starscream gone, who would be the one to lead the Seekers? There was never any hierarchy established in the past and I thought it would be fun to explore Thundercrackers' persona with everyone trying to go to him as the new lead Seeker (I mean, were they really going to go to Skywarp?). It wasn't ever intended to be a major plot point but more of an idea running in the background.
