Once again, I was really trying to maintain a little
sense of mystery and not to rush into the main story too fast here. I tried to
simulate the setup of a family sitting in the car during a long roadtrip in the
first panel. It’s a very simple comic but I was happy with the idea that
Megatron got Starscream to follow his order to the letter by putting a bomb in
his head, a reference to the Generation 1 Season 2 episode entitled B.O.T. in
which Megatron does the exact same thing to Swindle.
