The concept that a deranged creature like Bugbite
could easily talk Skywarp into freeing him from his bindings was really funny
to me. I remember originally it was all supposed to happen “on screen” over the
course of comics #240-241 but I decided against it since sometimes its funnier
to imagine what happened rather than see it play out. I mentioned it in the
notes for comic #240 but I realized Skywarp was a comedy goldmine at this
point. He had always been fun to write for but he really became my absolute
favorite to write for starting with comics #240-241.
