I was having so much fun writing for Shockwave and
Waspinator I probably dragged this little story out a little too far. However I
still feel the dialogue throughout it is still some of my best, just because
the characters bounced off each other so well. They’re both similar in many
ways, being the abused outcast so it made sense that Shockwave, being the more
assertive of the two, would intimidate Waspinator and milk his newfound status
for all it was worth. Looking back on these comics I really regret not pursuing
that dynamic further than what I did.
