For the last new character of this little run, I
decided to use a small Legends-Class (I.E: very small) toy to give the
characters more variety. I really don’t care for Transformers in this size
class but this particular mold has quite a bit more articulation than others
the same size; it’s really only missing elbow joints. Sunstorm, being a repaint
of a scaled down version of Starscream from the Cybertron toyline, retained a
gimmick the larger Starscreams had, namely a flip out sword. The idea to use it
as a switchblade quickly lead to his characterization as a street thug. Fairly
one-note however, so I haven’t seen the need to use him much over the years.
