This short strip segued into my first longer storyline (though nothing like the stories I’ve done since). I thought it would be funny having Megatron be behind the Special Robot Games as a throwback to the ludicrous overblown schemes all the villains in 1980’s cartoons had. The best part of the strip is Unicron at the end. His personality even in his one-panel appearance here was the inspiration for his characterization when he entered the strip later in #100. I still have no idea what the motivation was for having all the rhinos eating the Gone Drinkin’ sign, but it is a little funny to see I suppose.
