I like this comic for two reasons: One, the back-and-forth
arguing between G1 Optimus and Movie Optimus was always fun to write, and
secondly, I liked the was the West Side Story came out of nowhere, and worked
great to lead into the altercation between Autobots and Decepticons. I tried to
do my best to pose all the toys to look like they’re snapping their fingers
like the rival gangs in West Side Story but obviously some of the toys’ limited
articulation made it pretty difficult to achieve that. All in all I was very
pleased with the way things turned out. My favorite part of the comic is
Waspinator tripping. I never could get enough of Waspinator and his terrible
luck.
