Waspinator’s idea was great in theory but come on, did
anyone thing it would really be that easy? It’s not like I spent any time
building up the Decepticons lauding Waspinator for his plan save for the round
of slow applause in #300 but the status quo needed to be restored and Waspy
needed to come crashing back to reality as the floor mat that he really
was.
Obviously I was still attempting to keep the rivalry
between Hot Shot and Waspinator alive judging by the commentary panel.
